Auto Specialties recommends these pulleys be installed by a qualified mechanic.

1. Remove existing belt and pulley(s). If alternator pulley is used, it will require an air impact wrench to remove nut.

2. Remove belt. Install new pulley(s). Use Loctite #242, or equivalent, to secure bolts.

3. Install Gates belt K060960 for the Mustang and Thunderbird. On the 4.2 Truck install Gates belt K060870.

4. Insure adjustment marks on tensioner are within the limit marks. Make sure belt is properly seated in pulley grooves. Turn on vehicle and inspect pulleys for proper installation.
