Auto Specialties recommends these pulleys be installed by a qualified mechanic.

You are receiving two parts, but removing one dampner. A new dampner and underdrive Pulley are supplied.

1. Remove fan. This can be done with a large wrench or impact chisel. Threads are standard.

2. Remove crank bolt.

3. Remove belt.

4. Use harmonic balancer puller tool to remove crank.

5. Unbolt ASP pulley from new dampner.

6. Install new dampner applying grease to crank.

7. Use dampner/balancer installation tool to install new dampner.

8. Apply loctite thread locker to crank bolt and torque to 85 ft.lbs.

9. Bolt new pulley to dampner with 8mm bolt supplied. Torque to 45 ft.lbs.

10. Reinstall fan and new Gates belt pn K061000.

11. Inspect pulley and belt for proper alignment.

ASP does not warranty dampner or pulley if improperly installed. Do not hammer dampner onto crank. This will cause vibration problems.
